Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree - Philosophy
Philosophical studies at the bachelor level are undertaken at the Leibniz University Hannover as part of the "Fächerübergreifenden Bachelorstudiengang (FüBA)" [interdisciplinary bachelor's degree]. This is the case both for students aiming for an eventual teaching qualification, and those with another career goal.
Depending on whether students choose to take philosophy as their first of second subject, there are different sets of required modules, which give an overview of fundamental theoretical and practical philosophy, as well as the essential historical milestones. Students also have the opportunity to choose some modules depending on their particular areas of interest.
Once the bachelor degree is obtained, students can embark directly on a career, or they can continue their studies with a master's programme, such as the master of education.
