  • Winter Semester

    Registration period for Project Module 15.10 - 31.10

    Examination period for Project Module 01.11 - 28.02

    Registration period - all other courses 15.11 - 30.11

    Examination period - all other courses 15.12 - 14.04

  • Summer Semester

Please note that if you are taking modules from other degree programmes/subjects, different time periods may apply to these and please contact the respective examiners/teachers for information on corresponding examination offers!

Structure of the Programme

Below you will find an overview of the modules and courses that constitute the programme. The final grade of the awarded degree would be evaluated on the basis of your performance in each module; except for the thesis, you will take 7 exams (one for each module).

  • Ethics and Philosophy of Science (EPS)
  • Philosophy of the Physical Sciences (PPS)
  • History and the Philosophy of Human Sciences (HPHS)
  • Philosophy of the Life Sciences (PLS)
  • Advanced module on a systematic focus of study (VMs)
  • Advanced module on a historical focus of study (VMh)
